Day 1 : Cochin - Munnar [4hrs, 130km]
Arrival at Ernakulam railway station / Cochin airport. Meet our representative & proceed on
fascinating journey to Munnar (an idyllic tourist destination in Kerala) enjoying the stunning
panoramic view of the green Carpets of tea plantation enroute. It's the place you would love
to visit and never wish to leave. Enroute, enjoy the Cheeyapara waterfalls & Valara
Waterfalls. On arrival, check-in at the hotel & spend rest of the day at leisure enjoying with
the mist & clouds. Dinner & overnight stay at Munnar.
After an early morning breakfast proceed for Munnar local sightseeing. Visit Eravikulam
National Park (Own Cost) famous for watching Nilgiri Thar & also south India’s highest peak
“Anamudi” & thereafter visit Rose Garden (Own Cost). Post Lunch enjoy random clicks at
Munnar Photo Point, Enjoy beauty of Mattupetty Dam, Be screaming crazy at Echo Point &
Get in love with Tea Plantations. Evening spend time in local Munnar market enjoying
shopping. Back to hotel. Dinner & overnight stay at Munnar.
After an early breakfast, check out from the Munnar hotel & proceed to Thekkady which
is also famously called Periyar. Enroute visit the Spice Garden thereafter go on adventure
ride with Elephant Safari (Own Cost). Check in at hotel & after freshen up go on an evening
game viewing cruise on the Periyar Lake (Own Cost) at Periyar Tiger Reserve. Other
attraction includes Jungle Border Jeep Safari (Own Cost), Kathakali Show (Own Cost), Martial
Arts Show, Ayurvedic Massage (Own Cost) & last but not the least local shopping.
Dinner & Overnight Stay at Thekkady
After breakfast, drive down to Alleppey & check in at Alleppey hotel/houseboat with a large
network of inland canals earning it the sobriquet “Venice of the East”. Famous for its
Backwaters & Houseboat. A glide in a houseboat through the enchanting backwater is sure to
rob your mind & heart. In the evening enjoy the mesmerizing sunset from the backwaters.
Later back to the hotel/houseboat. Rest of the day at leisure. Dinner & overnight stay at
Alleppey.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel & proceed towards your onwards journey to Cochin
